Toddlers Thursdays - kids and frogs

Tuesday, DD4 had her first real swimming lesson :) I'm so proud of my little girl. How on earth can this be the same little precious baby I held in my hands almost five years ago! She really did a great job! She listened attentively to the teacher, did all the exercises ... luckily there was DS throwing tantrums that he couldn't join in for the swimming fun or there would have been purple puddles as Flylady says :)

How silly in retrospective to not have put her on the waiting list sooner! Both kids love swimming. It seemed so difficult to fit in our weekly schedule, and many other mostly silly reasons made these swimming lessons a gigantic frog to swallow... Well from now on Tuesdays won't be the easiest days of the week ... but we all need some challenges lol! And I will plan some crock-pot warmth to welcome us home, search some fun things to do with ds while waiting for dd. And please don't let me forget to bring a stroller along ... my back will appreciate it lol ... lots of growing up around here ... another babystep taken!

A Town Called Panic (English Version Trailer)

This is Belgian .... I don't know yet if I will stick to the Belgian beers and chocolates for future recommendations ;) I'll have to go and see the whole movie though. But apparently they are hoping for an Oscar nomination ... so I will keep my fingers crossed! Which reminds me of the fact that if I don't want to make going to a movie with DH, or anyone else actually, a once a year treat ... I 'l have to be quick .... which makes me think about a possible post for Thursday ...
